Training Division

FUNCTIONS

To administer the Government's in-service training programmes.
To promote and advice on Agency (Ministerial/ Departmental) training programmes.
To administer overseas short-term and long-term training for the Citizens of Saint Lucia.
To develop and administer a service-wide Training Policy, which will provide general guidance.
To develop and establish training plans and programmes.
To provide access to tertiary education. This includes the provision of funding in the form of scholarships, partial and full, economic cost awards, tuition refund and financial assistance.
