FUNCTIONS

  • Review management systems, operations procedures, policies and processes.
  • Evaluation of jobs in keeping with established Job Evaluation Factors of the Saint Lucia Public Service.
  • Examine and evaluate requests from Ministries and Departments for the upgrade, classification, activation, creation and re-designation of posts, to provide advice on related matters and submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers.
  • Investigate problems which affect the organizational efficiency and effectiveness of Ministries and Departments and recommend feasible solutions.
  • Undertake manpower and management audits and draw up manpower plan proposals.
  • Identify, visit and negotiate with proprietors on acceptable cost effective terms and conditions of rental.
  • Design and construction drawings of office space.
  • Administer the tender process and evaluate tenders.
  • Project Management.
